The Washington Physicians Health Program is an affiliated training site for the University of Washington, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship. Dr. Oreskovich is a supervisor for this training site and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the department. He is also active in the supervision of General Psychiatry Residents and is a lecturer for the Post-doctoral Training Program for Psychologists in the same department, and for medical students, residents, and faculty in the School of Medicine.
Dr. Oreskovich graduated from the School of Medicine in 1974, completed a surgery residency there in 1979, and was a member of the academic faculty until 1985. He returned to the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1999 and completed a residency in general psychiatry in 2002, followed by a fellowship in addiction psychiatry in 2003, and the VA Special Fellowship in Advanced Psychiatry (MIRCC) in 2004. He is also a lecturer in the School of Dentistry.
